Hot Spot - The Ruby Skye in San Francisco; lots of talent for $20

The Ruby Skye bar/club located off 420 Mason St. in San Francisco hosted one of the best concerts I've ever seen on Sept. 6. This place is nice; it not only has a large dance floor, but sofas you can lounge in as well as a full scale bar so that you can get a little loose.

Hot Spot - Pasha's Moroccan food on Broadway in San Francisco
San Francisco, one of our nation's most famous cities right here in our backyard! But how often do we use this open doorway for our weekend entertainment? If you are like me, almost never, because of busy schedules, and no transportation, NO! Most of us are simply uneducated about what to do and where to go in the city.

Dear Aphrodite

Throughout our lifetime, we take precautions to keep us safe from dangerous situations. We wear our seatbelts; we wear sunscreen; we take our vitamins. We try to do anything we can to ensure that we are as safe and healthy as we can be. Or are we? If you could save your life by getting a shot, would you? We've been forced to take various vaccines to protect ourselves from diseases, such as polio and measles.

Too bad life has to interfere with Madden 2007

Before I start reviewing this game lets talk about the history of the John Madden football franchise. I pretty much grew up with this game, it's like the little brother I never had. I remember John Madden 1994 on Super Nintendo - that was brilliant - but these two games are poles apart.

Super Mario Strikers: Soccer meets NFL Blitz

Super Mario Strikers: Soccer meets NFL Blitz
In this video game review, we take a look at Super Mario Strikers. For a Mario game, Strikers is very solid. The best way to think of Strikers is Soccer meets NFL Blitz with the Mushroom Kingdom elements and power-up items. In the game there are only nine characters, one of which is locked, temporarily, along with a few playing fields and items.

Dear Athena

Dear Athena, How come people of authority on this campus overexercise their power? Several times this fall, I have been in situations where people of authority have talked down to me. I am sick of being treated as though I am still in grade school. I am an adult, and I should be treated like one.
