Rockstar games, the maker of Grand Theft Auto IV, offered Game Spot the opportunity to play the game ahead of its release date.
Guy Cocker, a writer for gamespot said, "It's looking finished; the millions of eager fans who were disappointed by the game's postponement can rest easy because, bar a major catastrophe, the game should make its planned April release date."
If this game is even a fraction as good as the prior ones, it will soon become the talk of the video game world.
Sean Blakely, a junior, has played it and owns each Grand Theft Auto game to this point. He said he is eager to get his hands on the new release.
"Based on the past results Rockstar has had, I expect nothing less. I have a feeling it will be the best one yet."
Another report from gamespot.com mentioned the "game was almost too much to digest in one sitting, and were left intoxicated by the number of new characters, areas, and gameplay that it has to offer."
Grand Theft Auto will be available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, and the official release date is April 29. A sample trailer is accessible at gamespot.com.
