Technology Overload

It's interesting that back in the day, new technology helped cut production costs and time, but now that we are on a technology overload, it has had a reverse effect. Technology is even considered a distraction, and production is actually going down.
Technology has also become a status symbol. New technology is a premium and only the best-of-the-best can afford it. Having the new gadgets suddenly makes people superior to others. They are also fashion statements-the big, block, "Zach Morris" phone is out, but the sleek, slender lose-it-in-your-back-pocket is in.
The higher in-demand technology becomes, the less simple our lives become and the less in-touch we are with people, which is ironic because technology is designed to keep us together.
While technology is moving forward, it can always be taken back. We can always choose to go over to our neighbors to say "Hi" versus picking up a phone. We can always send a hand-written letter versus an e-mail. Technology surrounds us, and while there is no such thing as time travel, there is nothing wrong with forgetting about your technology and going vintage for a day.

I think that it is great that there are now many different ways to get your news, which include radio, television news, and online news sites.

Some things ar come back from our old times in the technology view. It's hard to belive, but even in Medievial age people knew a lot of physic processes. (Continued…)
